Cascades has built a new tissue processing plant in the west coast of Oregon. This 284,000-square-foot facility is equipped with state-of-the-art processing lines, high-speed rewinders and folding machines and has one of the world's fastest tissue processing lines. The plant will produce Cascades PRO brand wipes and toilet paper, and the annual output will be nearly 6 million boxes, targeting the home and foreign markets in the United States and Canada. The specific products cover paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, kitchen towels, and facial tissues.
Mario Plourde, president and CEO of Cascades, stated: "This new facility expands our scope of delivery throughout the United States and will enable us to better serve our customers in the southern and western United States. We will use the nearby St- The raw paper produced at the Helens plant (raw materials including raw pulp and reclaimed pulp) strengthens the integration of the company's business and increases the processing capacity."
The new plant is also the first step in the modernization of Cascades tissue paper production and processing equipment, demonstrating the company’s commitment to the development of tissue paper.
